Yeah, summer has been dragging along. Very slowly. But I keep getting news of all these ska concerts in my area, so at least I have something to look forward to until school starts. I already have my Reel Big Fish ticket, I may have to skip the Voodoo Glow Skulls show, but I definately have to go to the Pepper show. Good times to be had by all.

School starts soon, and I'm not happy about my schedule. I have a zero hour, which means that I will have to get to school an hour earlier. And that's not going to work for me. So I'll have to pay a visit to the school to get that sorted out. I wish school wasn't starting, I am starting to get used to this no-school-just-screw-around summer vacation.

The weather is so hot and me being sick means that I don't go outside too much; it's so nice and cool inside. I did go see that Simpsons movie yesterday, and I was really impressed. It was hilarious and is definately on my top 10 favorite movies ever list. Yes. It was that good.

So I finished Deathly Hallows. I really enjoyed it and found it a fitting ending to a fantastic series. I took my time reading it, I didn't want to rush through it like last time (I missed way too many details that time). I was impressed at how correct some people online where with their theories, but there was still a lot in the book that could not have been predicted. Not many of my theories were correct though. Oh well, it was a great book.

I've been feeling a bit sick these last days. At first I thought it was allergies, but now I have a bad cough and the symptoms show that I may have a cold or something. Plus the horrible heat here is making my summer somewhat miserable. So I've been sitting indoors mostly these days, listening to the new Reel Big Fish album or playing my Wii.

Yeah, I'm back from the South Africa. I took a bunch of photos, so I'll probably put those up some other time when I have nothing better to do. I'll write more about my trip when I put the photos up, but I did have a great time.

So tonight I'm off to the local Border's book store to pick up my copy of the last Harry Potter book at midnight. I've been waiting a long time for this, so I'm pretty excited. This past week I have been pretty careful about not running into any spoilers, and have been successful so far. I would rather find out as I read then find out by some ass on the internet.

Well, I better go get some sleep or something. I'm still a bit jet lagged from the flight. Maybe I'll finish reading "To Kill a Mockingbird". It's such a boring book, and the only reason I'm reading it is for school. Damn it's hot here in America; makes me miss South African weather...
