So I'm leaving to South Africa in about 4 hours. I've pretty much got everything packed, but there's still some stuff that needs to be put together. This should be a pretty short flight, mainly because we won't be spending 9 hours in Amsterdam like last time (only 1 hour this time). I hate long layovers. I'll have Pokemon Diamond to keep me busy at least.

The other day I was driving somewhere, I think it was the bank. Anyways, there was this huge swarm of bees in the middle of the road. I don't know how they got there, but I had to drive through it to get past. It was really freaky driving through that. It was like something out of a horror movie.

I'm not happy with the new rating that Manhunt 2 for the Wii got (AO). I was really interested in that game, but now it looks like I will have a hard time tracking it down. Which is too bad because it looked pretty good. That's what Ebay's for, I guess. Well, I gotta go do some stuff. I'll probably post something the next time I get access to a computer.

So I finally picked up Pokemon Diamond, because I've been meaning to get it for a while. I'm not a fan of the series, but the games are pretty good. Plus they're really addictive. So far I've been impressed. It seems a little sluggish compared to the others, but it still retains the charm of the older games. The graphics upgrade is also pretty good too. I hope it lasts long enough for my flight. (Also, I'm going to start adding images to my posts, to liven things up, you know.)

Even though I'm leaving in almost 6 days, I haven't really done any packing or anything. You would think that I would have done something; I'll be away for like a month. I should probably get started on that.

This summer has been pretty boring so far. Hopefully it gets better. After all, I've got an awesome concert and a trip to look forward to.

Only 2 weeks until I'm off to South Africa. The time is going by so fast. I bet these next few weeks will go by even faster. I can't wait to be there. It's going to be so awesome to be back. I've been waiting for this trip for a long time.

So I was at the local Border's because I wanted to get Fast Food Nation to read on my flight. Anyways, at the checkout line, they had these awesome gift cards that had holographic images of the cover of the seventh Harry Potter book. I stood there for like 10 minutes just staring at it because it was so trippy. Then the old lady who was at the checkout line, after watching me for a while, asked me, "Are you high?". So I quickly paid and hurried off. That made me laugh.

So I'm listening to the new Turbonegro album (Retox). It's pretty good so far, pretty much what I would expect from Turbonegro. What I have been listening to a lot of is Charge!! by the Aquabats. It's just an amazing album; I like every single song on that album and that doesn't happen a lot.

It's looking like another good day here. A little breezy but that's ok. I'll go out there and skate in a bit. For now I'll just chill in the house, watch some tv and eat some good food or something. Yeah.

Well, last night Whit, Fredrickson (I spelled that wrong), and myself were at the Propaghandi concert down at the ol' Sokol Underground. The first two bands I didn't like, but that's because I'm not a fan of scream metal. But Propaghandi was totally awesome. Nothing better than moshing/skanking at a punk show. I lost my shoe twice in the pit, got punched in the back, and got head butted in the mouth. Anyways, we had a good time kicking ass/getting ass-kicked.

It's the annual neighborhood garage sale here in my neighborhood. I never find anything decent, but my mom always finds something that she likes. I did manage to score a copy of Dazed and Confused, so that's cool. Maybe this would be a good time to get rid of my old Gamecube for some cash...

I've been listening to the album Charge!! by the Aquabats. That is a freaking awesome album, so go get it now. Every day that I am not at that Reel Big Fish concert, I die a little in the inside. I can't wait 2 months!! Leaving for Africa pretty soon though.
