Another year, almost gone. Personally, I don't really care a whole lot about whether a new year comes or goes. Either way, I'll be going to bed way before midnight, and I won't really care otherwise. It's a new year people, not anything worth a freaking celebration. Damn.

So I got a good haul on Christmas. Got this awesome Wii-Reggie shirt, plus some DVD's and stuff. A pretty good day I guess. Anyways, Cindy came over, and we played Wii Bowling pretty much all day. We did eventually stop when we played SceneIt. Then we went to the movies, and I saw Eragon. That movie sucked. A lot. Don't waste your money on it. Seriously.

Oh yeah, I finally beat Zelda Twilight Princess. I still prefer Windwaker, but this game wasn't too bad. I was very impressed with it, and I really enjoyed the final battle. Still have one week of no school, and I have done absolutely no homework. But I have plenty of time to do it. At least it's finally snowed...

Well, Christmas is just around the corner. I'm pretty happy with the stuff I'm getting, which includes an awesome Wii shirt, a book, some DVD's, and some other great stuff. We're going to have one of my mom's clients come over for the day and play the Wii. And she's wheelchair bound. And she loves the Wii. It'll be an interesting day.

Been playing a lot of Zelda lately. I'm hoping to finish it this week. So I'm at the Temple of Time. And I get right up to the part where you have to go beat the final boss. But you need the key to get through the door. And I can't find the key. So I look at this guide and it says that its on the top floor. It's going to take forever to get back up there.

I've been doing a lot of work on the new North Games layout. And it's scaring me. I've never made a site that has come together so easily. I haven't had any problems, never had to fix any problems, nothing. It's unnerving...

This is the first post I've ever written from my Wii. It's kinda hard to type with this, so I'll keep it short. Last day of school, lots of tests, almost beat Trauma Center, going out for dinner tonight. There. That wasn't so bad.

So me, Whit, and Cory went down to Sokol Underground to see the Murphy's Law show. Best show I've seen in a LONG time. It was happening at the same time as the Faint show, but they were upstairs. But we weren't going to waste our time. We had a real punk show to go to. And it was freaking awesome. We got there really early, so we got to listen to School of Arm's sound check. They were pretty good.

Then we heard Bad Luck Charm. They were true punk, so we were moshing and stuff. While in the pit, some dude grabbed my legs and I went down. People were piling on top of me, while others were trying to pull me back up. It was really wierd. They finished their set, so we waited for Murphy's Law to show. They were really late because they got in a fight outside the building, but they finally got up and played without a soundcheck. Pretty much everyone in the front 15 rows was moshing, even Whit's dad was. It was hella fun.

It got late, so I had to leave. I left right when people started handing joints of MJ to the band. Seemed like a good time to go. Anyways, I had a good time. Good times...

OK, so Sony sends me a game called Rogue Galaxy. Which is pretty cool because it's not even supposed to be released until January. However, the game probably is really bad. At least it came with a pirate flag. But wait, the flag is way too small! And it also had a stupid PSP ad thing. You may think this is cool, but if you're going to send me free stuff, at least send me something decent.

I've been playing a lot of Red Steel lately. I don't know why it got such bad reviews, the game is freaking awesome! I mean, sure, the multiplayer is terrible. But the story mode is tons of fun. I'm having a blast with that game.


I'm trying to win this awesome shirt of Reggie holding the Wii off Ebay. I'm hoping to get it before Christmas. Ms. K in physics bought a bunch of donuts to class today. Which wasn't as good as the Taco Bell we had yesterday. But whatever. My mom has to go to Hyvee to get some spaghetti.

I signed up for the alpha testing of this game called Voyage Century, which is some online pirate game. So of course I'm interested. They had really limited reservations, so I was lucky to get accepted. It's downloading right now, and it looks like it'll take a while to finish. But I think that it looks like fun.

I'm starting a new project called North Games. It'll be a flash game site that people at my school can go to. I'll also have a Game of the Week and other random stuff like that. Whit gave me the idea yesterday, and I think that it'll be tons o' fun. I'm currently testing out hosts right now.


During gym class, they had the bleachers out because they were getting ready for some big basketball game tonight that I don't care about. Anyways, it turns out that you can get a lot of static electricity from that thing, so we were shuffling around trying to shock each other. It was cool because you could put your finger up to something metal and you could see the electricity flowing. It was awesome. After a while, that got really boring, so we just sat down and watched the Tetris master, Cameron, play Tetris on his phone for an hour. He didn't even die once during that hour, he kept playing the same game. That's why he's the Tetris master.

So I finally got a microphone, and Gemini wanted me to be a guest on ACFriends. So of course I accepted. I didn't really speak much. It was just great to hear a show being done live. When it finally was released, I was scared to listen to it in case I sounded bad or something. So I still haven't listened to it yet. And I probably won't ever.

Been trying to play more Zelda. I've just been so busy. I also need to get more gameplay done on Red Steel. Maybe when Zelda's done... Not much has really happened lately. This is pretty much a quick update.
